August 21, 2010… The weather was supposed to be fantastic, at least till afternoon, so we headed out for a daysail. Carol was ready to relax. Other sailors were out. Shrimp boat at anchor. Blake was taking pictures. We installed a new chartplotter last week, so Ben was showing Blake all the cool features. Whoa!!! [...]
August 14, 2010… The weather looked reasonable, so we took a nice daysail. Other sailors were out. Pogo enjoyed the view. The Pensacola Lighthouse on Pensacola NAS. The water was beautiful. What a nice day on the water.
Didn’t get the chance to go sailing today, but Carol did whip up a cool sailing cake for Ben. Happy Birthday Ben!
We had a great weekend of sailing. We started by sailing over to Portofino Towers down Pensacola Beach. Brice and Ashley took a staycation and rented a room there for 4 days. Jim aboard Another Chance and Bobby aboard Pearl sailed with us to visit with Brice and Ashley. Looking forward to setting sail first [...]
